Apple has not announced a standard iPhone 18. In September 2026 it launched iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the foldable iPhone Duo. According to earlier reporting from The Information and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is splitting its lineup: the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e are expected in spring 2027 (first half of the year), and June 2026 comments from Largan Precision’s chairman about a major U.S. customer delaying a model to Q1 2027 align with that timeline. Kuo has also said the base models are expected to use an A20 chip with 9GB of RAM; Apple has not confirmed those details. If you need a phone soon, consider the Pro lineup already on sale or a previous generation; if you can wait until spring 2027, watch for an official reveal. (Updated October 2026)
