Samsung Galaxy A56 5G

Key Takeaways

• Despite metallic paint coats, the hollow plastic frame feels cheap, with rough molding seams around the USB port.
• The Exynos 1580 GPU is severely underpowered; Honkai Star Rail dips below 24fps even on low visual presets.
• Still chained to 25W slow charging with no adapter in the box, requiring buyers to spend extra on charging accessories.
• Night camera hunting takes seconds, and the 2-second exposure shutter frequently yields blurry, ruined night photos.

✅ Pros

• Rare IP67 dust and water sealing in the mid-range tier
• Vibrant, contrast-rich Super AMOLED display panel
• Reassuring 5-year software security commitment

❌ Cons

• Cheap hollow plastic feel and rough seams
• Weak GPU cannot maintain playable gaming frame rates
• Stubbornly slow 25W charging without a brick
• Sluggish night focus and shaky long exposures

📝 Verdict

"Galaxy A56 5G has waterproofing, but hollow plastics and horrific gaming performance make it an easy skip."

• Good screen
• Good video and selfies
• Samsung software and update promise

❌ Cons

• Battery life and charging don't stand out
• Average rear-camera photos
• Competitors at the same price offer stronger performance

📝 Verdict

A good phone, but until the price comes down, it's worth looking at other options first.
